What are your Opening Hours?
FOR TYRE AND BATTERY SALES our hours are: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays. We're open on bank holidays but NOT on Christmas day and Boxing day.
FOR EMERGENCY RESCUE and RECOVERY we operate a 24 hour service - 365 days of the year. If you require a battery or tyre repair at home or on the road-side etc. then we will endeavour to assist whatever the day or time but there will be an additional charge.
What should I do if I break down?
If you're a member of a national breakdown service such as the AA or RAC etc. then you must contact them in the first instance and they will co-ordinate your recovery or roadside repair.
If you are not a member of a national or private breakdown service then contact us.
What type of vehicles can you rescue /recover?
We can recover many types of vehicle including motorcycles (for which we have dedicated equipment), cars, vans, MPV's, 4X4's, cars with caravans and we have large crew-cab vehicles that can accommodate several persons together with their vehicle. We can not recover any kind of HGV.
What help can you provide at the roadside / at home?
We have fully equipped vehicles to assist you. We carry tools to help gain entry to your car if you lock your keys in the vehicle (this may require proof of identity etc.) and repair minor electrical and mechanical faults such as split water pipes and fuses. Our technicians are not only highly trained but also experienced in roadside assistance and fully conversant with modern vehicle technology and systems. If your vehicle is beyond roadside repair you will be given the option of a full recovery service and a choice of destination - e.g. a bodyshop, garage or safe storage of your choice.
What should I do while I am waiting for assistance?
ALWAYS stay with your vehicle until you're rescued. If you are on the hard shoulder of the motorway then do not remain in the vehicle but retire to a safe distance from both the vehicle and the carraigeway. Leave the vehicle using a door on the side opposite that of moving traffic if possible. If there is a car fire do not return to the car even if the fire appears to have gone out!
